The Patagonia Men's Tres 3-in-1 Parka is a versatile winter jacket for a wide range of cold weather. Hit the city streets with this genius parka, covering everything from cold and wet to cold and dry and even some inbetweener type weather. Two jackets with three ways to wear them, start with the first and you've got yourself a waterproof jacket that falls to mid-thigh, constructed from H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer polyester fabric. The hood is removable so you can go with or without and not just as a fashion statement. Zippered hand pockets hold onto your gloves and a chest pocket will dutifully hang onto your phone. The inner jacket zips in and out of the first, and provides cozy warmth in the form of a down insulated jacket. The 600 fill power duck down is toasty and ready to insulate, falling to the hip so it won't hang low below the shell. HEY YOU GUYS! That down jacket totally stuffs into it's own pocket for storage in your backpack, or maybe your briefcase (it'd be cool if you carried a briefcase). Wear one jacket, wear both jackets, I won't judge you.

DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.
Patagonia H2No Performance Standard
H2No Performance Standard shell fabrics are completely waterproof, windproof and breathable. They are put through rigorous tests to achieve the H2No status, so you can rest assured that they'll keep you dry and comfortable in the backcountry.

Great Jacket!I bought this jacket about a month ago and have been warm ever since. I live in northern MN and enjoy having our typical 9 months of winter a year... I've had down jackets and waterproof shells, but this is my first 3 in 1 and I don't think I'll ever go back. The zipper on the outer shell was difficult to engage at first but has broken-in a bit since and I don't think it will become an issue. The arms are tighter than other winter coats I've had but I think I like the style better than baggier sleeves. The longer length of the parka is also more comfortable for me than 'regular' sized jackets. All in all, it's a fantastic product and Patagonia has always been high quality for me.

Very good coat!!I had an awesome coat from another brand but it looked too casual so I decided to try this parka and I like it! It is not only 3-in-1 which makes it very versatile but has really nice cut to the coat. On top of that, it is waterproof and has removable hood so again, very flexible. Overall, I like it a lot but I haven't had a chance to wear it since the weather has been too warm. As long as the duck down jacket performs as it should, I don't see any issue with this purchase. Got a killer deal at Moosejaw which was nice not to drop $500+

Great especially if you're tallMy husband is over 6'2" and 185 lbs with long arms. Hard to find coats that come in tall sizing but this one worked great. He says it's warm (we live in CT) and is nice enough looking that he can wear it to the office. Looks very well-made. An expensive coat but I think it will last many years.

Stylish Mild Winter JacketNice, stylish parka for mild winter weather. Works well for cold days with layering, but would recommend a heavier jacket for the Chicago days in the low teens and 20s.
Does either the outer or inner jacket have weather closures at the cuffs?
Asked by: Charles
The outer jacket in the Patagonia's Men's Tres 3-in-1 Parka has adjustable snap closures. The zip out liner jacket attaches to the shell via the front zipper and snapped loops at the cuffs and neck. I hope this helps.
