Men's Fit Guide Details & Info

Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.

Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.

• Conforms to the body's contours.

• Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.

• Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.

• Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps you dry I'm mildly obsessed with raincoats. This one is great if you're going out in some serious rain. The pullover layers well but of course is not great for going in and out of the weather but it's fantastic if you're headed out for a day playing in the rain. Nice hood. Only has an interior pocket. I like the elastic closure at the end of the sleeve - it actually keeps the rain out. It's great as being a raincoat, but is not as versatile as some other coats. Also, I am girl and am a rebel by wearing a Men's coat - the fit is still really nice (I got a Medium and typically wear a women's Large).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shell Super light and packs into its own chest pocket. Really perfect to stash in a pack and pull out in the rain, that is if you're not wearing it already. It is super comfortable and I wear it all the time. It breathes well; not too stuffy inside. Only downsides: no pockets for your hands; guess that cuts down on weight. Also, I tried it on with in a climbing helmet underneath the hood and couldn't get it zipped up all the way. Either way, this jacket fulfills my needs and goes beyond expectation. Fully recommend it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UltraAwesome Get this product, it's within your price range because of the Patagonia Iron Clad guarantee. That means it has a lifetime warranty; think about how much you will end up wearing it then consider what you paid for it. ,,I wear this even when it is not raining out because Ultramarine is the most interesting color ever. ,,The hood is epic and really rounds out the protection needed for a bad rainstorm. It even stows away in the single chest pocket!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Will be your favorite jacket if you get the right size Awesome jacket, I got the dark grey and it looks amazing, feels amazing, and smells AMAZING. It keeps the rain off very well, and as it says, it really lets the vapor get out so you don't get all steamy. If you like it steamy, don't buy it. The sizing is kind of funky, so make sure you go to REI or somewhere to see how it fits, then leave a banana in the pocket and buy it here. They will never know.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Jacket I love Patagonia stuff. This jacket is great. Very Very light. Packs very small. Not great for layering though, unless you went a size larger. I do wish that it had more pockets than just the inside breast pocket. And having to pull it over your head all the time isn't optimal. But it sure looks nice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not fully waterproof I am not pleased with the H2No line, it doesnt seem to be fully waterproof. After some time in the rain the entire coat feels damp on the inside, no not sweat, water seeping in. they do have it in plenty of colors and it is lightweight and a good fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this jacket Bought this pullover to stuff into the corner of a High Sierra pack. I've been on the receiving end of a sudden storm and with no shell regretted it. This thing rocks, stuffs down small, packs light and you forget you have it until its needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not great fit. Lightweight. The arms fit fine but I wish the stomach was a bit longer. But I'm sure they were trimming off as much as they could so it was lightweight and compact. Its very compact and fits great in a backpack.
