The Patagonia Men's Torrentshell P/O is a pullover rain shell for minimalist hikers that find themselves in the storm. The H2No® Performance Standard shell uses a waterproof/breathable 2.5 layer nylon ripstop fabric to keep all that is wet off your upper half. A durable water repellent finish deters water from soaking into the fabric surface. The 1/2 zip at the front eases in getting the jacket on and off, while featuring interior and exterior storm flaps to prevent leaking. Tuck a map into the zippered kangaroo pouch and you're ready to tromp through the rain. Once the rain ceases, the whole thing stuffs into the kangaroo pouch and you can clip it to your pack, or stuff it into the stretch-mesh pocket at the front of your pack.

DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. It's cute to think of a fabric as being afraid of water. Now if only they could make a bearphobic coating. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.

• Conforms to the body's contours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pullover! I am really glad that I bought this pullover! I bought this pullover for those rainy walks to class and it always keeps me dry! And a really great feature is how it folds into it's own pocket so it is really easy to pack into my backpack! Overall this product deserves a 5 star rating because it is made out of high quality materials, very light weight, and is very protective from the rain! If you are looking for a light weight form of protection from the elements then this is the right choice for you! I recommend getting a size larger than your normal jackets so it can fit easily over your clothes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JUST OK Patagonia Torrentshell jackets are amazing! best waterproof jackets in the low $100 range. I thought this was going to be a great one! just like the full zip, Well I was wrong I don't like the how there is no pockets on the sides only the front packet! witch it nice but not really good for just going out. If I could I would take it back. I have used it trying to get use to it for to long. If you read this and cant make up your mind and think it might get better well im here to tell you it doesn't, Fits true to size

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket I ordered Eclectic Orange (L) for my boyfriend. The jacket color combo looked even nicer it person. It seems very durable. He likes it a lot. I'm exchanging it for an (XL) because he does have broad shoulders and to give him a few more inches of wiggle room. The length should be a bit longer but unfortunately it is the same in the L & XL. That's the only issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Jacket is Awesome! We were a bit skeptical about getting this jacket because boyfriend here is pretty tall and it can be hard to find something that is not short on him and this jacket won! Fits well, feels good and doesnt prevent him from moving around. We were also amazed about how dry it kept during the rain/snow mix! This jacket is certainly a keeper!
