Men's Fit Guide Details & Info

Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.

Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.

FORMFITTING
• Conforms to the body's contours.

SLIM FIT
• Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.

REGULAR FIT
• Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.

RELAXED FIT
• Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does It All I am 5'10" 165 and recently bought my second Large (Bit Baggy). I am a Medium in most Patagonia clothes/jackets and Med is probably the right fit, but I like the extra room. As others have stated, it doesn't block wind like a technical fleece would, but if you layer it is quite warm. I originally used it under a shell while skiing, but wouldn't recommend buying it for that purpose. I like the Large because I can wear it over anything. I have worn it on summer nights, skiing, around the house, and as a winter outer layer over sweatshirts and sweaters. Very versatile fleece, but essentially it is a warmer, softer, hood-less hoodie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for on the go, warming hands and storing Since I was 16, I have always had a marsupial pouch pullover during the fall and winter months, but of all the ones I've had, patagonia is one of the best. The fleece is not too rough and it keeps you very warm. I love the pouch design for this. Instead of having fleece lining in the pouch, there is mesh. This allows you to warm your hands with your body heat much better than fleece lining or other fabric would. There are two small complaints. 1. The pocket openings are too small for books. 2. The hook in the collar is not the best for hanging up the pullover on a hook. Overall though, great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, but know what it is. I bought my first Marsupial about five years ago and have since added three more in different colors. I still wear the first one to this day, but it is unfortunately not nearly as soft after repeated washings.,,,,Still, these are incredibly soft, very comfortable, and reasonably warm. As other reviewers have noted, it doesn't do anything to block the wind. Still, on a cool summer night, lounging around the house, or as a mid-layer it is perfect. The large front pocket also makes for an incredible handwarmer, and on top of everything else, it looks good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ballin bro This jacket is pretty legit. Everyone I know wants a Pattywack just like mine. Yeahh that's what my maid started calling them and now it has stuck. Kinda catchy huh. Fits nice. Pretty true to size. Kinda rides up when you bend down though. Neg if you are a guy getting this but pos. if a girl has this and bends down.. Whoops too far. Anyway, get it. You won't be disappoint. I just bought the Snap-T too. Oh one more thing. These things shed like no other so wash a few times before wearing unless you still want to be wearing it when you take it off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cant believe how warm and soft it is Well done, I'd say. ,,This product is fantastic! ,,,,It's tremendously soft and well-worth the price.(But I would not pay over 60) ,,It's indubitably warm, and did I mention, soft. ,,,,It looks befitting with jeans or khakis. Patagonia's sizing is interesting though....,,I'm of 20 years of age, 5 foot 5 inches, 130 pounds, and I usually wear a small, but the small fits as medium would, so you might want to order a size down. ,,,,Thankfully, Moosejaw has remarkable customer service; had no problem sending it back for an XS.,,,,-Sawyer

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Had to Have It! Having a t pull over from the 80's, the jackets and a "modern" T, I had to have this garment. The warmth of this is incredible. Soft and cuddly for the women and soft and cuddly for the women for the men, it is also as good as its sibling jackets. If only Patagonia could give protect from the wind without a liner, synchilla would be prefect. If the pouch were made entirely of synchilla and not synchilla/mesh, this would be as perfect as "marsupial" jacket as you could get within synchilla's limitations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and warm This pullover is exactly what I expected. Very warm, soft and breaths very well. The main issue I was concerned about with this was the size. I knew it had a classic (baggy) fit, but I did not want it looking like a bag. I always wear XL, but I ordered a L and regretted it until I got try it on and it fit better then expected. I’m 6'3 200 athletic build and the L has the fit I was looking for (loose enough to be comfy but tight enough to throw a shell over). Overall, love the pullover! Thanks Moosejaw

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you want a patagonia...... This is the only one you'll ever need! Lets see, I have a black, brown, grey, cream, orange, and creame one! I love this fleece. It is light, extreamly soft and by far the best patgonia product on the market. I have a vast majority of this brand and this fleece was one of if not the first purchase I ever had with patagonia. It sold me! I wear this in all year round whenever need. Great for light cool mornings or extreamly cold days.,,,,It's made out of recycled material....always good!,,The fleece is as tough as nails!,,,,buy buy buy buy:)
