Patagonia states that their Men's Snowshot Jacket is good for "ripping the park, charging powder in the trees or dropping into fresh steeps." They always use such cool lingo.... but I'm not convinced that sometimes they don't just make up expressions. The Snowshot jacket is great for threading a nasty burn, catching a fling or shredding your W-2s (did those sound real?). The H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer ripstop shell is waterproof/breathable so you can venture out into the backcountry and do some freeriding. It is lined with 100% polyester mesh so it slides on easily over layers, so you can tailor your temperature for your activities (pit-zips further increase temperature control). It is also loaded plenty of comfort/safety features (listed below). So check out the Snowshot jacket and go catch the fling and shred your W-2s.

Men's Fit Guide Details & Info
Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.
Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.
FORMFITTING • Conforms to the body's contours.
SLIM FIT • Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.
REGULAR FIT • Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.
RELAXED FIT • Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.

BAMF, yes, but getting old & crotchety - like Yvon Chouinard - and only Marmot makes better jackets.I like the longer skirt, and because this jacket is a bit oversize I can wear it over a sport coat or blazer when I need to head for the courthouse or a client's funeral. Would be nicer if the main zipper were a two-way, so the front of the jacket didn't bunch up under my seat-belt when I'm driving. We'll see if this jacket lasts as long and wears as well as the thirteen-year-old Marmot for which it will serve as understudy.

Love the featuresLove the features - media pocket great for tunes in the cold (especially when spending quality time with my soul mate). Ran big (I'm not tall nor am I slight of frame) even with layers. Returned my old one to Patagonia due to fabric wear - didn't like my backpack. New one holding up fine. Recommend to anyone looking for some must-haves; waterproof, pit zips, powder skirt and plenty of stash pockets.
