The Patagonia Men's Short Sleeve Fore Runner Shirt is a great shirt for runners. Maybe that's why it's called the Fore Runner shirt. It has reflective logos and 30 UPF sun protection. This Patagonia shirt also has a slim fit so you can show off your calf muscles. That’s wrong. But I’m an intern and don’t anything about slim-fitting shirts. The shoulder seams are made to reduce chafing and the fabric is extra durable so you can wear it forever. Just take it off sometimes to wash it.

I have the short and long sleeve of this shirt and I really like both of them. The colors of this short sleeve one, blue on light blue, is great, stands out when running or when in any activity that Im doing. From running, to biking, to yoga, its a great shirt that wicks pretty well and sits well on my shoulders and doesnt come too far down on my waist. I hate those shirts that have the really long torsos that come down below my butt. This shirt has lasted for a while for me, so I will probably be picking up a new one as backup.
"Great moisture wicking shirt, not as soft as I wanted though"
I have worn a number of Patagonia moisture wicking shirts, and they all do a great job at keeping your body cool. Unfortunately, this was the least soft of the shirts. That is not to say that it is a bad shirt by any means, because the other ones were amazing; but I was hoping for a little more softness in this shirt. Couldn't tell how it was going to feel based on looking at a picture online. Such is life
I picked up a couple of these shirts because my old ones were starting to unravel. The last ones I had lasted about 4 years. In those four years I was in the Peace Corps and teaching English abroad. These shirts are perfect for work, play, and living abroad as well. You wash these shirts in a tub or a pila and in about 15 minutes they're dry for their next trip. I was super excited to order a fresh new batch, and can't wait to take them on my next adventure. I wear them to work out, as well as undershirts at work and they always keep me dry and cool. I did read a couple reviews on Patagonia's website where the seam at the shoulders bunches up a bit and that is TRUE, however in my case it doesn't bother me in the slightest. These shirts are and will be my go to shirt for any adventure that may come my way.
