"Great jacket, stylish, durable, and warmer than I expected!"

I recently spent the past year out in Burlington, VT. Moved out there from Ann Arbor, MI. I was use to Michigan winters, they are cold, but bearable. If you've ever been out to VT, especially anywhere near Lake Champlain or up in the mountains, then you know the winters arent just cold, they are bitter and bone chilling. I had owned this coat for a few years prior. I was expecting to need to purchase a new jacket.... NOPE! This coat held its own in those bitter winter conditions. especially with a fleece underneath, it kept me warm and toasty. Kept the cold out and the warmth in. Without being super bulky.
This is truly an all-weather jacket, as long as that weather is not rain. This jacket is not made to get wet. It's fine for snow, but once you get a bucket of water thrown on your head, it takes hours to completely dry and even smells damp for a day or two.My other complaint is the sleeves. I think it was made to be layered, so they made the arms extra wide, especially in the elbows. They make it look like you're hiding huge muscles under there, which sadly I am not. It's a great all-around jacket. It's super warm when you need it to be, and light and breathable when you dont. I dont regret buying it at all, but if you need something more wintery, there are better options.
"Great jacket for most winter conditions"

After quite a bit of shopping, this jacket proved to be the one for the job. It does a great job of reducing bulk while keeping warmth at a premium. Sleeves are extra longo which is really hard to find. The pocket placement come in very handy. My only complaint is the the jacket is not completely waterproof like some of my other gore-tex gear. The shoulders, elbow, and bottom are waterproof but I am worried a bit about being out in the heavy rain elements as this isn't quite a completely waterproof rain parka. Also, with no wind-stopper material some of the strong breezes can hit you after hours in windy situations.
