The Patagonia Men's Refugative Jacket is a waterproof shell jacket for climbing and skiing the high mountains. The 3-layer GORE-TEX® fabric combined with Gore® C-Knit™ backer gives you a water and windproof jacket that is not only lightweight, but stretchy. Movement is important when you're moving hard and fast up or down the mountain, and the fabric used at the upper back, shoulders, and backs of the arms helps facilitate this. Get your blood pumping and as your heat increases, open the pit-zips to release the excess. Pockets are littered inside and out, most feature a zipper for security while the interior mesh is wide open for quickly stashing goggles, skins, even a hat! Attach the jacket directly to your Patagonia snow pants (or some alpine pants) to prevent snow up the back, then pull up the hood to deter the oncoming flakes of snow.
Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.
FEATURES of the Patagonia Men's Refugative Jacket
A hybrid design for the optimal balance of stretch and lightweight; durably waterproof and windproof 3-layer Gore-Tex fabrics with Gore C-Knit backer technology are softer, lighter and more breathable than regular 3-layer Gore-Tex fabrics
Specially engineered Optimal Visibility Hood adjusts with single-pull Cohaesive embedded cordlock system to fit equally well over all helmet types or a bare head
Two high handwarmer pockets with watertight zippers stay clear of a harness or pack waistbelt; welted exterior left chest pocket, interior left chest pocket and interior stretch catch-all pocket
Watertight 2-way pit zips for venting
Elasticized strap at low back connects to any Patagonia Snow pants and select Alpine pants to prevent jacket from riding up
Cohaesive embedded cordlock system has two contact points at hem for intuitive one-handed operation either inside pocket or at hem
C-KNIT is a backer technology that is utilized as the innermost layer of GORE-TEX fabrics. It is soft to the touch and adds serious comfort to hard shells. Its incredible breathability will minimize moisture build-up so you won't get that clammy next-to-skin feeling.
Garments made with GORE-TEX® fabric are durably waterproof, windproof and highly breathable, providing reliable weather protection and maximum comfort for a wide range of activities. These garments keep your body dry by allowing perspiration vapor to escape so you remain cool during activity and warm during cool-down.

Men's Fit Guide Details & Info
Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.
Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.
FORMFITTING • Conforms to the body's contours.
SLIM FIT • Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.
REGULAR FIT • Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.
RELAXED FIT • Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.
