"Great design, great function, highly recommended!" 01/12/12
The first thing about this vest is how great it looks. But the real reason to own this vest is realized after putting it on. The fit is slim, but is not constricting. The spandex side panel permit just about any range of motion and the fleece is extremely soft. This vest provides a lot of warmth for such a light fabric. It will perform anywear from the streets to the trail. BUY IT!...unless you are attached to being cold, constricted and not stylish.

I wanted a vest that could pull double duty as a technical vest for hiking/backpacking/flyfishing but still be stylish enough to wear around the office or out on the town. This jacket does the trick. It is stylish (I bought Forge Gray), warm, so comfortable, and very compressible. Ok, so it isn't the Swiss Army Knife of vests because it isn't windproof nor as compressible as the Nano Puff. However, I knew that going in and didn't intend for it to be. Let's be realistic here, you can't have everything in a single economical package. I highly recommend this vest to anybody looking for something to fit the criteria similar to what I mentioned above.

Very warm for the weight. I love it because I can wear it under a slim fitting shell and I don't know it doesn't constrict my arms. I use it mostly when ice climbing as it does not interfere with my swing. Packs small for fleece. Large fits me at 6'1" 195lbs
"It really is awesome" 12/09/10
at first I wasn't sure about it, I'm more of an occasional vest wearer. After receiving this, I have worn it 5 out of 7 days of the week. Warm, light, stylish, fuzzy..what more can you ask for? Its very warm and the side elastic is a nice touch. it could have pull strings around the bottom but i can't complain. The elastic is working pretty well. the fleece collar is perfect on those frigid days and rough material hurts, and fleece feels like fur. I am now a frequent vest wearer.
"Perfect vest" 11/27/10
Bought this on a whim shortly before an international flight. It was perfect for the flight and for the trip. Quality of the vest is unmatched and the soft fleece performed double duty as a blanket on the cramped flight. Wouldn't mind some pull cords on the bottom to snug things up, but the stretchy sides allow it to fit well over thick or thin clothing.
"Versatile Vest" 08/14/10
Vest can serve many functions, from over a t-shirt to under a bigger jacket. Kids love the softness of the vest and they like to use it as a blanket. I'm 6'4 and the large fits perfectly even though they say this vest is a slim fit. The material on the sides is kind of stretchy so it's great.
