"Best soft shell jacket I've ever owned - If you're looking for warm and breathable this is the one." 10/28/11
Bought this for trekking in Bhutan. Fantastic jacket. Highly breathable and windproof. Used it for several weeks at altitudes around 4000 - 5000m (Snowman Trek) in a wide variety of conditions. If your looking for a jacket that combines the warmth of a mid-layer and a soft shell this is the one. Tough shell, plush warm inner. Good size hood. Pockets at the front are not really practical, more used for ventilation if it warms up. No other complaints.
"WOW! Someone finally made the jacket I’ve been wishing for." 08/19/11
This jacket is almost wind proof and very, very, water resistant. On the first day of my 2 week Alaska trip we went to Worthington glacier we got hit with a crazy down poor I stayed completely dry. very soft fleece lines the sleeves and hood. the outside matierl feels tough but is soft and non restrictive. temps down to 30F stayed warm with just a smartwool base layer under it. 5'9'' 158lbs medium fits great.
