The Nano Puff Pullover by Patagonia is wind and water resistant. Versatile 60-gram PrimaLoft One polyester insulation provides excellent warmth and compressibility in this Patagonia Jacket. The Nano Puff Pullover can be worn as insulation or outerwear in cold. I think more things should have self-explanatory names like the pullover. For example: pants – upleggers, hat – headtopper, thongs – upbutters…that sounded better in my head.

Men's Fit Guide Details & Info

Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.

Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.

• Conforms to the body's contours.

• Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.

• Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.

• Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected "I must admit I got a bit carried away by all the enthusiastic reviews while purchasing it. The pullover is not as warm as advertised as I was testing it in a 35-45 degrees range while wearing a Capilene 1 and Capilene 3 underneath. I was freezing. It can not be used as a stand alone piece of technical wear because it doesn't breath. I tried skiing in it but I end up being wet, not really a technical wear. I imagined this to be something that can substitute for a light shell during the dry conditions but this is clearly not the case. The conclusion is I really don't know which category this garment would qualify for. Sold mine on ebay. ,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deceiving Feel, Exceptional Results Ordered it from Moosejaw on the sheer fact that I needed an insulting layer backpacking the A.T. in December. Never picked one up in a store and tried it on. My first reaction after using my teeth to open the box was, this feels cheap. For a 149$ this should feel thicker and more durable. It snowed the day it arrived so took my Bernese mountain dog out for a walk. I was astounded how warm I was! the DWR worked great for the light snow, and after the 2ish miles were over I needed to take it off. The Primaloft is unbelievably warm, better than I imagined. Love the elastic bands, keeps the elements out. If you don't have one, you definitely need one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Jacket is Word to Yo Momma The Nano Puff is Awesome. It is a little pricey, but Patagonia is really good about repairs and such (and they put a lot of money to good use in environmental stuff). This jacket is a little short (if you're tall like me), but it is really true to size otherwise. As far as layer, I wear it with a long and short sleeved tee under it, and it is perfect, but, for wearing it as a top layer, you may want to lean toward a larger size. The windproofness is amazing, and you can flip the pocket inside out and stuff the whole thing in it (it's almost weightless). The synthetic aspects makes it so you don't sweat and so that it is still really good in the cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight synthetic jacket! Another great product from Patagonia !! I am continuously moving towards lighter gear. I bought this nano puff pullover for a light weight piece for hiking in areas where it likely to rain instead of snowing. It does take a long time for down to dry. I am always a size M in Patagonia, but this jacket runs on the larger size for some reason. Remember, insulation is to be close to your body!! I weighed the jacket, size S is 9 oz. I like black to absorb the sun rays and to get some extra warmth. This piece will replace any fleece for future backpacking trips. Buy it, you will want to sleep in it as soon as you get it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rad jacket! This jacket is pretty much amazing for how much it doesn't weigh. It feels like I'm not wearing anything, and everyone says that I can't be warm enough with just this on. I've probably worn this jacket for 200 days out of the 365 days. It packs down into it's own chest pocket so you can keep it in your pack or clip it onto your belt when it's not needed. It goes with me everywhere as my just-in-case jacket. Blocks wind and still kept me warm when I was soaked through. I wear this skiing, hiking, backpacking, around the house, pretty much everyday, and traveling. My friends think it's the only jacket that I own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't Hesitate, Get One Now! Been eyeing these for a while, but couldn't justify it with the mild winter we have been having. Then I found the mango version on clearance, and jumped on it. This pullover is the softest puffy I have ever tried on. Medium is large enough to fit over a Cap 1, R1 pullover, and R2 vest layering combo comfortably. I am 5'-8" and 165 lbs. Also small enough to fit under my MH Epic Jacket if needed during rain/snow. Can't wait to try this out on an upcoming late winter fly fishing trip. Recently wore the R1, R2, Nano combo while 20 deg and 25 mph winds and very low activity, and stayed toasty. Very windproof and compressible. Fantastic pullover, and I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST lightweight, packable, warm pullover on the market bar none! Absolutely love it and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Super light weight yet extremely warm. I live in Chicago and I'm currently wearing this in 40 degree weather with only as t-shirt on underneath. The Nano Puff is also the perfect layer underneath my hard shell for winter sports. Also super packable if you're looking to travel light. As far as sizing goes, I am 5'11 and 175 pounds with an athletic fit. 41" chest and normal to maybe slightly long arms and the Medium fits me perfectly, like it was made custom for me! Not tight yet not baggy. Could wear a layer or two underneath yet it still has that tailored fit look. Also got it on sale which made it a no-brainer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and Warm? This jacket came just in time for the first 30-degree day of the season. It kept me warm and I got several comments on its attractiveness! One of two drawbacks is the half zipper, which keeps the jacket’s weight down, but has the effect of messing up my hair when I pull it over my head. I guess you’ll have to take care not to mess your hair or you could buy a great hat from Moosejaw. Another problem is the lack of pockets for your hands, which was awkward for me, but again this keeps the weight down. Overall, Patagonia has made another great jacket!
