Patagonia Men's Nano Puff Hybrid Jacket is a technical insulating layer that focuses on keeping you warm. If jackets had to go to college to specialize in an area of expertise, then this puppy would have a doctrine in Efficient Warmth. PrimaLoft® ONE synthetic insulation is baffled in a brick pattern on the front and back torso and the tops of the arms to keep your more exposed areas toasty. The remaining parts of the jacket (the sides, lower torso and underside of the arms) are high-loft R2® fleece which provides stretchy insulation and great coverage and mobility. Textbook temperature protection.
Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. It's cute to think of a fabric as being afraid of water. Now if only they could make a bearphobic coating. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.
Polartec Thermal Pro
Polartec Thermal Pro is soft and plush on the inside, but has a durable exterior. It's a lot like an M&M. But not really. Thermal Pro is fast drying, highly breathable, wind and water repellent and has an impressive warmth to weight ratio. M&M has nothing on that. Too bad you can't buy Polartec Thermal Pro with peanuts or peanut butter on the inside, though.
Primaloft Gold synthetic insulation offers light weight thermal efficiency, permanent water resistance, maximum breathability and superior softness. That's probably more impressive than your resume. Maybe you should try beefing up your resume. I suggest adding "great at problem solving and not lying on resumes."

Men's Fit Guide Details & Info
Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.
Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.
FORMFITTING • Conforms to the body's contours.
SLIM FIT • Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.
REGULAR FIT • Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.
RELAXED FIT • Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.

Collar is Too High, Can't RecommendI've had the old nano puff for years and literally wore it out. I bought the Hybrid hoping for a more athletic fit. The good news is I got a more athletic fit. The bad news? What was Patagonia thinking about the height of the collar? The Hybrid has a collar that is about 2 inches higher than the collar on the old nano and it looks just plain silly. If I zip it up all the way it looks like I'm wearing a neck brace. If I don't zip it up all the way I have enough fabric flapping around to make a vestibule. The fleece is an okay addition, but the inside of the neck is lined with a soft fabric (instead of the same nylon fabric as the shell) and the neck fabric catches on my 5 o'clock shadow. Better athletic fit? Yes. Giraffe neck? No thanks!
