I'm 6'2", 230, athletic/slim build and Patagonia is one of the only shirts that will actually fit my frame well. The biggest issue I always have is I can't find a shirt with long enough arms in a size that doesn't make me look like I'm pregnant. Normally to get longer arms you've got to go really big in size. This I'm able to order in a XL and the arms are an absolutely perfect length, and just a touch longer than needed which I really enjoy. The body of the shirt is not ballooned out to a proportion that will fit a 280 lb. man, but just the right size for me. Keep em the same size Patagonia and I'll keep buying!
I have been buying Patagonia Pima Long Sleeve Cotton Shirts for over a decade (I actually still have some that have lasted for over 10 years). The material has gotten a little bit better over time and the style is as fresh as ever. The Pima shirts have a relaxed fit that hasn't changed very much over time. You can't really go wrong with Patagonia products. Great, ethical company!
"I'm a big guy and this shirt covers perfectly!"
I'm 6'3", 235 and this shirt fits perfect. I'm a big fan of the fact that Patagonia makes things a little bit larger and I'm pretty sure they do it just for me. Not that I'm that big of a deal, but these shirts make me feel like I am. Usually 100% cotton shirts have a little bit of shrinkage in them but I haven't noticed any with this shirt. Big props to Patagonia for that one. I have 4 of these shirts and 1 of them is constantly on my back. Trust me, you'll love it.
Went with the XL and the size was great. I have a 44 inch chest, I am 5'11", and about 210lbs. This is a great fit and hangs down to my lower waist which is great to help cover my plumbers crack. Helps make me look real sharp!
"The lowdown: if you want some great looking shirts that are super comfortable, go with Patagonia's L"
These shirts are super LEGIT! I bought 2 couldn't be happier; also got them on sale... awesome. First off, the shirts are made by Patagonia and they never disappoint. I'm about 5'11" and I would say an average build. I like my shirts to fit a little more traditional/relaxed, so I usually ordered larges from Patagonia. I didn't realize at the time that the shirts were 'relax' fit, so they are just a little bigger than I expected, but the fit it is fine, the sleeves are just a little long; a problem that easily solved by rolling up the sleeves, which is my personal preference when wearing shirts. The plaid patterns are awesome I have received a ton of complements on both of the shirts.
