Men's Fit Guide Details & Info
Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.
Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.
FORMFITTING • Conforms to the body's contours.
SLIM FIT • Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.
REGULAR FIT • Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.
RELAXED FIT • Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.

why buy a hardshell? This thing is a thing of beauty. Light, highly water-resistant, quick-drying, windproof. pullovers are either a love or hate thing. I will be honest on what side of the fence i sit. I wish all my jackets were pullovers. so glad i picked this one up before it was discontinued. For my purposes, which a far majority of the time are highly aerobic, this is the one-stop answer for shells. Nothing touches this as far as breathability. When you're moving you're drying the garment, that is if it ever even got wet, which is only after a heavy squall or hours of wet snow. If you keep moving it gets dry in no time. my go-to outdoor jacket.

Great climbing pulloverThis is a minimalist pullover. It breathes really well. I love the fabric. It is burly tough, breathable, and stretches well. If you like a minimalist pullover, you'll love this piece. I personally would have preferred a full zip jacket, but Patagonia doesn't make one that isn't insulated. Maybe next year.
