Product Description Item No.   10252840

The Patagonia Men's Hi-Loft Down Sweater Hoody is a hooded down jacket for cold weather adventuring. The Hi-Loft Down Sweater Hoody is all about more warmth and more down. The baffles are much bigger than the little brother Down Sweater, making it quite easy to stuff more of the fuffy, 800-fill-power goose down inside. The 100% recycled polyester shell fabric now features a new ripstop pattern, for extra durability to protect the precious down. A durable water repellent finish on the outside of the jacket helps prevent a light rain or snow from soaking into the fabric surface. The regular fit allows for layering under and over top depending on conditions, with a parka-length back hem to cover your lower back. Zippered hand pockets and a zippered internal pocket protect small essentials, 'cause a warm granola bar is much tastier than a cold one. When the day is too warm for down and you won't need the puffy warmth, the whole jacket stuffs inside the inner chest pocket so you can tuck it into your pack or clip it to your harness for emergencies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best. Jacket. Ever. Simply put, this jacket is awesome! I wanted something super warm, yet light and packable and this jacket exceeded my expectations. Warmth: it's like wearing a sleeping bag full of kittens. I honestly don't need to layer much under it to stay warm, but if I do layer I don't tend to overheat. Lightweight and packable: it's weighs so little that I never think about throwing it in my pack if things are going to get chilly. Speaking of throwing it in a pack, this jacket stuffs into a small internal pocket (which could double as a camp pillow) making it easy to throw in with the rest of your gear. I tend to hit the crag on the shoulders of the climbing season and this has just become my go-to belay jacket. Fit: I'm 6'1" and about 175 and the medium is perfect; I don't feel like a marshmallow (mmmm....marshmallows) and it's cut long like a parka which is great for us taller folks. Side note: the green is awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, stylish, and light I bought this jacket to serve as my main winter layer around Chicago. I'm 5'11 with an athletic build at 170lbs, and the medium fits me perfectly. So far we haven't had any overly cold days, but this feels warm enough for down to single digits with a sweater. With a wind-blocking shell on top it's probably good to much lower than that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice coat Although now just try not to really wear it when, exactly the right size fit, very warm and is great for outdoor sports will help, a hooded down jacket is what I've always wanted to have, this coat makes me wish.
