"comfy base layer"  06/05/11

very comfortable base layer, although its often used by me as a outer layer. holds heat and breathes well, so your well covered!

I recently discovered Capilene 2 base layers and I'm in love! This shirt is great. Its so lightweight it almost feels like I'm wearing nothing at all. In moderate winter temps (20s and 30s) I wear Cap 2 as my base layer under my Patagonia coat and I can stay outside for hours without freezing or burning up.

"What is Better?"  11/07/10

Who says you wear this only when you go skiing or hiking or whatever you do, this shirt is so good looking you can wear it as a regular piece of clothing and almost go out anywhere with it as long as it is clean and you have not worn for a week straight and then maybe you still can. Great piece of clothing!!

"Light and warm all at the same time."  10/28/10

Best base layer ever for mild climate adventuring. Keeps me warm and dries fast. Does not feel like I am wearing anything at all under my clothes. I would highly recommend this.

"great base layer."  10/13/10

i am a sweaty, sweaty man and you can't see any pit stains with even the bright orange fabric. the fabric feels nice on your skin and regulates heat nicely, you don't get too hot or too cold. with the cap 2 and a better sweater you are warm and comfy unless it's below freezing or stupendously windy. the slim fit isn't skin tight but it is a little more fitted than their regular cut. the shirt is also nicely long so your ass crack won't hang out or get cold unless your pants are wayyyyyyyyy too big.

"Classic baselayer"  02/22/10

This is your classic baselayer both in material and fit.This shirt fits loose on me, the only reason it's not my go to baselayer. It fits sort of like a Helly Hansen XL or Arcteryx Large.The fabric on the other hand is superior and it fights smell way better than the latter. So for multi day outings i will bring this and a wool base (for sleep and camp)
