"not bad, but not worth it" 10/13/11

The fit was not to my liking, a bit too loose and the sleeves are awkwardly long IMHO. There is also the issue of the seam placement right on top of the shoulder making extended pack wear less than comfortable. Hopefully the next iteration of this shirt addresses those shortcomings.

"Nice shirt" 07/16/11

I own a number of synthetic shirts. This one is pretty nice. The neck has held it's shape. It wicks sweat well. It is a pretty shade of blue with a two tone color.

"Good to wear alone in warm weather and a good base layer when the temps drop" 03/24/11

Overall, this product does everything it should. It helps prevent chaffing when you're using a pack in warm weather and it's too hot for anything else without overheating you while you're out. When it gets colder, it makes a good starting layer to absorb the brunt of the sweat. It's easier to bring 2 of these with you and only one mid-weight layer and then just swap the T-shirt out after a few days.

"Top notch wicking tee!" 02/12/11

I like this shirt way better than the nike dri-fit collection . Plus, it's awesome to get such a great tee for almost half off of retail. Compared to the capiliene 2, the 1 fits tighter, but is not as elastistic as the 2 is. The 2 definitly cools you faster on a windy day as it is more breathable, but does not wick sweat away nearly as efficiently as the 1 does.

"Great shirt for any exercise..." 01/19/11

Even though I do a lot of extreme winter stuff, I've actually been using this s/s capilene for my core cardio classes, where I sweat like an overweight dude on a chain gang in the Florida panhandle in August.

"Comfortable, packs nicely and ... weightless. Great product." 01/17/11

I purchased the shirt to go on a trek, with very limited weight allowed for backpacking and flight to remote areas. Fantastic layer base that accomodates the traveller at all times of day under various weather changes. A must.

"Great synthetic t-shirt" 10/27/10

This is a great shirt for running and warm-weather hiking. It's a tighter weave than capilene 2, but still breathes really well and dries super quickly. I'm not sure why they didn't go with raglan sleeves. And it definitely holds onto a stench more than wool baselayers do. But, for dayhikes and running, it's great for keeping you cool and comfy.
