"my favorite long johns" 02/06/11
these are my go to long johns. i own capilene 2 and 3 longjohns but prefer the cap 1. they have the best balance of warmth, breathability, and just comfort. very easy to layer with because of the smooth texture. great investment.
"COMFY and WARM" 01/22/11
I am a skinny legged mofo and the small was just all right for me. I got the small and have a waist of about 31. they were actually a little teeny bit loose, not tight or anything. These are really great, they are warm, moisture wicking, but still thin enough to get under skinny jeans if you need it. I wouldn't recommend putting them on under cling wrap style jeans though. I agree with everyone that says the fly is ridiculous because it is. If you bend at all, it will pop right open. So bend over your lady friend, she will be excited ;) Go conquer some mountains in these pups.
"Great for hikes in buggy conditions" 07/28/08
I bought a pair of these for myself and my husband for our trip to Peru. These are great for covering you up, even in warm weather, in order to keep the mosquitoes from eating you alive. Great fit and feel, as is most of Patagonia wear. You can't go wrong with these.
"Don't freeze your nads! Get these thermals!" 05/12/08
Very snug. Very comfortable. Very warm. They do the trick. I was skeptical about paying over 30 for a pair of long underwear, but they came through when I needed them on my last trip. I'll definately continue to use these babies.
"Patogonia enough said!" 04/11/08
These are super comfortable and keep me warm under a soft shell pant when running along by the beach. But i suggest you size up. I wear a pant size 31/32 and bought a size medium and they were a little tight and short. So i bought a large and they fit alot better. And no I didn't gain any weight.
