So far I've really only worn these shorts casually, but I love them thus far. Honestly, the biggest selling point for me was the back pocket. I kind of slum it on the weekends in the Summer/Spring so its great to have shorts that I can swim in and got out in. Also the glass blue color looked teal-ish online, but in reality it just looks like a blue color with no green mixed in.
"Look no further for your favorite summer short"
These are absolutely great. I knew that I was going to like them, but I practically live in these in the summer. They are lightweight, quick drying, and good looking. They don't restrict movement too much and have nice and deep front pockets and a buttoning back pocket. They are also backed by Patagonia's warranty which you can't beat.
These are a Jack-of-all-trades kind of short and they excel at being a tough and dependable item that I can always rely on. The cut is excellent, definite room to move in these babies. I find them on whenever I'm not at work. They are great for bumming around, running, swimming, basket weaving, time travel or whatever.I have a pair in The Balsamic Purple and find I'm always being showered with compliments,"Hey man, I like your purple shorts""If purple shorts were a crime, you'd have a life sentence"A life sentence I would gladly commit to as long as they didn't take my baggies away, orange isn't my color. These are a well made, dependable item.
I got these last summer and have loved them ever since. They have been swim shorts. Hiking shorts, climbing shorts...the list goes on. Bottom line is if you are looking for a great pair of comfortable shorts . These are perfect ,and will last a life time
Two pairs of these shorts just came in the mail, and I'm already so impressed. They aren't nearly as "too long" as some people complain them to be (I'm 5'6" and the smalls run just above my kneecaps) and the material is comfortable and lightweight. As always, Patagonia has used vibrant, unique colors that make these shorts more than just a piece of outdoor gear. I can see myself wearing these stylin' bottoms for years to come.
Being short I always have a hard time finding shorts that are the right lenghth. I cannot stand shorts that go past my knees. Too often it seems that manufacturers make different sized waists but keep the same lenght of shorts, regarless of size. Patagonia does a great job of offering shorter lengths. I originally ordered a medium having slightly over a 30 inch waist, but with them being baggy I definetly needed a small and exchanged them hassle free from moosejaw.
Getting mine soon just put the order in. I have been debating whether to get some but I finally pulled the trigger. Can't wait to wear these swimming, sailing ,and bouldering all summer. Thanks moosejaw
