I agree with everything that Charles had to say about these shorts, except that I love that they are a slimmer fit through the legs! Digs 'em, a lot.

"Good pair of casual shorts; fit changed since last year" 08/28/10

My second pair of these shorts (still have and use the other). I find the inseam to be perfect, but it is slightly above the knees, so if you like a long board short type cut, you will be disappointed. Even though they are cotton, they are light so they dry fast. Surprisingly wrinkle resistant. My only gripe - as with many patagonia products, the fit has changed since last years iteration, which i thought was perfect. This year's is tighter around the leg openings. If you have larger/muscular thighs like me, prepare to show them off! It's not the bad, but definitely tighter than my last pair. MJ - great service, as always.
