Patagonia Men's 3-in-1 Snowshot Jacket is the perfect jacket for carving up the slopes or for carving up the town. (I don't know what "carving up the town" means, but "carving up" is such a cool expression I think it should be used more often). The H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer 100% polyester shell is a durable waterproof, yet breathable, outer jacket with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish that'll keep you protected from the elements and pit-zips for ventilation. The zip-out liner is lightweight, compressible and quilted with 60-g Thermogreen® insulation that keeps you warm even if wet. When the two layers are fused together (well, zipped together.... but fused sounds cooler/sciencier) you get a bomber jacket good for riding in the coldest conditions. The Snowshot has an adjustable/removable/helmet-compatible hood, an adjustable powder skirt and an embedded RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector. So carve up your winter wardrobe with this versatile and fully featured winter jacket.

Men's Fit Guide Details & Info

Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.
FORMFITTING • Conforms to the body's contours.
SLIM FIT • Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.
REGULAR FIT • Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.
RELAXED FIT • Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.

Good quality jacket for around town and outdoor adventuresI bought this jacket as a replacement for an Obermeyer skiing jacket with only one layer. As a 2 layer jacket, I appreciate the inner shell as a light all purpose jacket.,,,,The colors of the blue/orange were a big pull for me. The shape of the jacket is somewhat loose, so if you are a slighter person, you will definitely want to make use of the cinches around the waist in order to prevent heat loss.,,,,The outer shell is water repellent and seems durable. And the hood is definitely large enough for a heavy hat. I have only had the jacket for 4 months or so, but expect it to last at least 4 years. ,,,,

good but can be better. The outer shell of this 3 in 1 jacket is very good, durable and stylish. I really love the two layers check pocket, which you can put your mp3 or phone 4 in inner pocket, though not suitable for iPhone 5.,,What I think it can be better is the inner liner, it is so thin. I feel cold when I use this 3 in 1 jacket in 20 degrees F. So I have to wear a sweater beneath them when the real winter came.
