The Patagonia Lightweight Yoga Sling is a nylon bag for carrying your yoga gear to and from the studio. The Lightweight Yoga Sling is made from a 210D 100% nylon double-ripstop fabric with a polyurethane coating, which means it's super durable for tossing in the backseat of your car, leaving on the floor of the studio or stuffing in your locker. The long zipper makes it easy to slip your rolled yoga mat inside, and a small zipper stash is a handy spot for keys and wallet. The stretch-mesh pocket holds onto your water bottle so you can rehydrate before, during, and after your practice. The top and bottom of the bag features mesh for ventilation and the Air Flow mesh shoulder strap is comfortable and adjustable.

Perfect yoga bagThis fits my yoga mat (Jade Harmony) perfectly, and I don't have to work hard to stuff the mat in or roll it tight or anything -- there's plenty of room. It also has an interior zip pocket I've used for an ID and credit card and two larger exterior pockets, one zipper (could fit yoga towel) and one drawstring (good size for water bottle; I use it for my bike lock). It's also pretty lightweight. I really like the purple and orange zip color combo. I wouldn't run with it or anything, but it's worked great for cycling or walking to yoga.

Perfect Size!I understand the argument for a simple, minimalist yoga mat strap but I just don't work that way. I have enough room in this bad boy to bring a water bottle (in the generously-sized outside pocket), mat cleaner, my keys (in their own special little inside pocket), my phone, a snack and I can even smash a light sweatshirt in. You don't have to be overly fussy about tightly rolling your mat either, a loose roll fits just fine.
This bag is perfect.

Attractive piece.I bought this with my Moosejaw rewards! I can't figure out those weird yoga strap-only thingy's so when I saw this, I had to buy it. This has a nice, long zipper...(think slender duffel bag) so your mat is easy to pack/unpack. A couple little side pockets for keys, cell phone and water bottle..all of this coupled with Patagonia quality. The extra bonus is, even without Moosejaw Rewaeds, this is sweetly affordable:)

Will this hold a Manduka pro mat?
Asked by: Tenizmom
Hey there, thanks for the great question! The Patagonia Lightweight Yoga Sling will fit yoga mats up to 24" in width. The Manduka Pro Mat is 26" wide, so it would be too big for this sling. The Prana Bhakti Yoga Bag would be large enough for the Manduka Pro Mat though, so check it out!

Is the water bottle pocket large enough to accommodate a Nalgene bottle?
Asked by: joybells1713
Thanks for the question! You might be able to fit a Nalgene in there if you have a thin mat - or if that is the only item that you want to put in that pocket. The pocket isn't very stretchy, so it won't accommodate bottles that are way larger than the dimensions of it. My recommendation would be to either take a smaller bottle if you have one, or attach it to that loop so you can avoid that pocket. The sling itself holds 10 L of storage space. I would say that the pocket can accommodate a regular sized water bottle (in terms of opening) and is about a foot long. Hope this helps!
