Rated 5 out of 5 by from finally found a travel bag I like I was looking for a travel bag for years until I finally found the Patagonia sling bag. It stuffs into it's own pocket, so you stow it away. I use it primarily when I'm traveling and wandering around a city knowing that I'll be out the whole day. This way I can keep with me everything I'll need and not have to return to the hotel: light jacket (or patagonia nanopuff), sunglasses, maps, camera, gorillapod, extra batteries, and water. It's small, so you don't feel like a backpacker or like you're taking up too much space when you pop into a restaurant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great light travel bag I wanted something for bicycling and day long hikes. There's enough room for many energy bars and snacks, a flashlight, knife, map and even a light shell jacket. I use a heavy steel water bottle and the outside bottle holder felt durable and I wasn't worried about rips or tears while lugging around heavy stuff in this pack. Given its design it only fits over one shoulder properly and if you use the other should it dangles oddly on your back. That took some getting used to. There's a waist strap which I don't use since I like to be able to swing the bag forward to access it without having to take the bag off. There's a small pocket for keys and the main large opening. It folds down almost flat into it's own carrying case only slightly larger than a deck of cards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully fun! Very durable with many! uses for many ages! I have owned an Atom since Patagonia began making them. My current one is over 5 years and there is absolutely no way to tell as it looks great, no tears, snags or fading. (I cannot remember when I did not have it, it has become my everyday go to bag). It is only 7 L, but the flexible nature of the ripstop nylon allows it to be packed to the gils and still look cute and fashionable! I live in Taos, NM and see them all the time here. NOT just for hikers. I have given this bag to many friends and family members who use it for different purposes. My 9 year old grand-nephew, my 99! yes 99 year old mother in law who lives in a retirement home and uses it constantly to carry her craft stuff, her sweater, money, etc. And my next door neighborhood jock lol who just loves it because it is light enough he can use it when running and biking. It folds into it's pouch and weighs about 10 ounces. Get this, you will love it too. I do miss the green color, but the newer colors are best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Just got mine yesterday! I have a scooter and needed something quick but lightweight to pack around. This is just right! I holds just what I need it to and looks great doing it. I've named it Patty. I think Patty and I are going to get along just fine :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from High quality bag, but much smaller that it looks online. This bag is super good quality, but it is tiny! I expected it to be a decent sized bag, but I realized after I received it, that is must just be meant to hold a few snack or something because it was too small to even fit a decent jacket in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Light weight and holds plenty of supplies and water bottles for hiking. Took it on a 7 mile hike in 80 degree weather and it was great
