"My son loves this hat!" 02/19/12
I bought this hat for my 3 year old son who normally doesn't like wearing hats. He kept yanking off the other hats but I didn't want to deal with tying strings so I bought this one instead b/c it's got snaps instead of strings. I bought size L for my son who normally wears a hat sized for 4-5 year olds and it fits him great. I think he may even be able to wear it again next winter--love that there are 2 rows of snaps that allow room for growth. My son loves this hat too--he won't yank this one off! I think it's b/c it's got a relaxed fit and not tight at all, yet it stays on b/c of the snaps.

Love this little cap! Easy to get on and keep on!! Little fingers can't get it off, no strings to worry about tying, untying, or getting wrapped around little things while fidgeting. So warm and fidget proof, it is a no brainer for cold play and on the go fun!

Keep your baby nice and toasty for a great price! I love the snap under the chin to keep the hat on during those moments when all you hear is crying and you could only wish to be somewhere tropical! At least you know the hat isn't going anywhere!

screaming and crying: who needs it? your kid is hungry, tired, sleepy, poopy, and cold. wait, no, s/he's not cold. you've covered his/her ears and head with soft synchilla fabric that traps heat and feels gentle. you've taken care to make sure his/her chin isn't chafing because Patagonia was thoughtful about this hat's ergonomics. you're a good parent--and, your kid has the coolest hat at daycare. now, if only meeting the rest of a kid's needs were so easy...

Bottom line is really that this hat is very warm and protects the little one's ears!!!! It also is fantastic because it has a snap which means the little one cannot pull off without permission!!! I am going to order a few more and I so recommend that everyone who is a parent does as well!!!

My Mom bought this hat for my 6 month old daughter. I think my daughter's head just might be on the small side because she is 6 months and still fits into the 3 months size. It looks so cute on her and even better it keeps her warm. I got the pink one and just love it so much.
