"The best layering piece for your toddler!" 12/11/11

I bought this for my petite 3 year old so who is about 34 inches tall and weighs about 32 pounds. I bought 5T so he can get lots of wear out of it but I was a bit worried that it might be too big for him this winter but it fits him fine--it's big but not huge that he'd be swimming in it. This winter it's the perfect size for him to layer OVER his outerwear such as the Patagonia Baby Puffball jacket (which we have in 3T).He also likes wearing it indoors because it's light and not bulky. I've even tried it on his younger brother (who's a year old and is 30 inches tall) and it's big on him but he can still wear it over him PJs and it wouldn't restrict his movements or anything.

"Awesome vest! My toddler gets 3 years of wear out of these!" 09/28/10

We first purchased this vest when our son was a year old in an 18 month. He wore it until he was 3 years old (its generously sized). He's now passed it down to his sister and we're back to buy a 5T for him this year. He loves this vest - it wears really well - and goes with everything. You can't miss with this one!
