The Patagonia Baby Hi-Loft Down Sweater Hoody is a hooded down jacket for babies. The 600 fill power down is packed into the jacket, making it super warm for your little one. It's lightweight so you won't have to lug around extra weight every time you leave the house. The shell fabric is 20D polyester mini-ripstop, with the strength to protect the down and be windproof. The outside is coated with a durable water repellent finish to prevent a light snowfall from soaking into the fabric surface, and will even deter a spill. Are juice cups really ever spillproof? Elastic at the cuffs and hood keep sleeves and hood right where you want them, and have a soft touch against sensitive baby skin. The zippered pockets hang onto pacifier, toy, or mittens so you know where to reach when on the go.

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. It's cute to think of a fabric as being afraid of water. Now if only they could make a bearphobic coating. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.
