"Looking for a pack that will meet all of your needs from fashionable to functiona? You found it!"
I have been searching for months for a pack that I can use for my hikes, but also for just everyday use. I wanted it to be functional for work and play! The Atom Pack is the best thing yet. It is super spacious, and lightweight. The strap is super comfortable so it won't irritate your shoulder. I love the front pocket, its just big enough for keys, credit cards, or chapstick. The double strapped buckles on the outside are perfect for hooking your water bottle to it so you don't have to carry it in your hands. It will also adjust so you can fold your jacket and clip it there instead of stuffing it inside your pack. The only think that I found to be a bit of a nuisance, and it's probably because I don't use it, is the strap that goes around your mid-section. It's fairly long if you don't use it, but I just tied it a couple of times and now it's out of the way. I'm totally in love with my Atom Pack and would highly recommend it to anyone who asks me!! Thanks Patagonia for my new BFF!!!
"Makes the most awesome pocketbook ever!"
The cell phone pocket on the strap fits my phone perfectly. Love that the waist strap can be tucked into the padded lining in the back. This pack can be used for half day hikes as well. Small zippered pocket on the side is great for my keys, calculator, pens etc... I love love love this bag. Interior pocket is deep enough for a water bottle and I can still fit my zippered wallet and other essentials.
Kidding, but an awesome bag nonetheless. Perfect for a small day trip to throw a couple snacks, wallet, water, etc in. Lightweight and comfortable, and plenty of separate pockets allowing some organization if need be. Use this for adventures, as well as occasionally for school. Definitely recommend.
i love this bag! I have bought 2 of them because I use it so much and I wanted multiple colors. Its ergonomic and it can hold quite a bit of your stuff. The only issue I have is the zipper quality is very poor. I had Patagonia replace the zipper on the first bag 2 times. However, I also feel that Patagonia zippers in general are not of great quality. That being said, I love the bag so much I bought two of them...
Bought this pack to use as my day pack for Europe this summer. Used it a couple of weeks ago to hit the streets and casinos of Reno. Great pack for keeping track of all the important stuff. Love the cell phone pocket, to small for my phone but great place to keep your cash and have it on your front to keep an eye on it. Great for on the plane holding a couple of books water bottle and snacks. Strap is really comfy and looks stylish on. Would recommend.
I've had this bag for over a year now and I have loved every second of owning it. I even took it overseas to Spain with me on a climbing trip. It has a good amount of room for being such a small bag. It can clip around your waist with an extra strap in case you find yourself having to make a run for something and you don't want your bag sliding everywhere on your back. There are enough small pockets for organization, so you don't lose everything like one can in a big bucket bag. And the fabric is really durable. My bag has seen some rough terrain and I you can barely tell based off of the exterior. All in all, I highly recommend this bag.
This bag may be small, but it is mighty! I use mine all the time and take it everywhere! I tell everyone that I call it my Mary Poppins' bag because of how much I can fit in such a small bag... It surprises me every time! I am planning to buy one for my sister and a friend so I can share the joy this bag brings! This bag is also very durable and I have taken it through mountains, streets and pubs and is one of the best purchases I've ever made!
Great bag for hiking, casual city walking, or biking. The extra body strap allows for a secure fit when biking to work. I was able to fit a book, nalgene water bottle, sunglasses, keys, wallet, cell phone, ipod and head phones and still had room for a few more things. The various internal pockets are great for organization and the straps on the outside are useful for strapping a rain coat to the outside.
"Everything's gravy except the strap pocket!"
This pack is so close to perfect it is insane. I have beef with two things: 1 - the pocket on the strap seems to be intended for a cell phone, but the pocket is too small for an iphone (even without a case) or larger phone like an iphone (it does fit keys and chapstick though) I also don't like that all of the straps don't have elastic bands, so the excess strap just kind of dangles (fixable with some craft store elastic and minimal sewing skills).I can fit a planner, book, wallet, hardshell eyeglass case and other misc. "essentials" easily. and the pack is pretty comfortable. I have walked around town with it and haven't had shoulder/back pain like w/ a regular shoulder bag.
