The POC Sports Receptor Backcountry MIPS Helmet is a snow helmet for skiing and snowboarding the untapped backcountry. If you haven't heard of MIPS before, it stands for Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. It is there to reduce rotational forces in the brain in an oblique impact. Science-y, I know, but basically if you take a fall it'll help if you hit head-first at an angle. This bucket also features double shells, a Multi-impact EPP liner and an integrated RECCO® reflector. Load up on the safety, while the full ventilation still keeps you comfortable. Your brain is important.
FEATURES of the POC Sports Receptor Backcountry MIPS Helmet
ABS/PC outer shell
Thin PC / PTFE inner shell

Penetration-proof ventilation system with airflow channels between the two shells
Neckroll with integrated Recco avalanche rescue system
