"Stylish and warm, not really for winter sports."  02/18/13

I bought these for my older sister for Christmas after she tried them on at an MEC and fell in love with them. She says they're extremely warm, extremely confortable, and very soft on the inside, but not waterproof. But she's not a big ice-fisher so that shouldn't be a problem. Overall, she is very happy with them. She lives in northern Alberta, so if she says they're warm enough... I'm pretty sure they're doing their job. I would say if you're looking for stylish-looking mittens to keep your hands cozy while you're waltzing around in freezing temperatures while shopping, or even just leisurely snowshoeing, these would be great. If you're looking for hardcore ski gloves, not so much.
