Lightweight, but gets the job done!I can't say enough good about this jacket. Some days I hope it will rain just so I can wear it! It's lighter than any other rain jacket could hope to be, but still very effective! While heavy rain will make this jacket seem soaked through (it clings to you and even appears drenched), I'm always totally dry underneath. Plus, it's thin and light fabric allows it to dry quickly after a sudden downpour and keeps you from sweating buckets underneath in the summer. The hood fits snug and cinches down well. The only two things I'll note that are negatives are that there are no hand pockets (1 chest pocket) and the wrists are a bit loose with no way to be cinched.

Like it so much, I got a second!Yep, a second indeed! I had the Helium Edition 1. Loved it. When I saw they had made it lighter and it was available in green, I shared the love of Helium 1 with a friend and bought myself the Helium ii. I use this jacket for all things when the temp is above 55. I cycle in it. I run in it (okay, maybe not often since I think running is 'of the devil'). I climb in it. And did I say that I climb in it? This jacket stays in the pack year round. It packs so compactly, that whether it's on my harness or in my pack...it is never in the way. I have mastered putting it on while leaving it attached to the harness on those long alpine routes. I can't say enough about the breathability.

Light and feels nice against skinThis jacket is well constructed. It's so light that it's easy to take with you anywhere without much of a weight penalty. The whole jacket stuffs into its own pocket fairly easily and then it's a really small package to carry around. I like that it doesn't feel plastic-y against your skin and it breathes fairly well. The blue color is also really nice.
