Awesome if they fit! This pant was recommended to me by the American Alpine Institute guide for a winter mountaineering trip I have coming up. They look like great pants! Very tough and warm and full range of motion. The inside of the legs have some kind of fuzzy material, but it isn't too thick. Lots of great fleece-lined pockets. They are too big for me though. I ordered the small, which is the smallest they come in. I'm 5'5", about 26" waist, 37" hip, which is a perfect small according to the chart. They have velcro tabs at the waist, which is great, and pulled tight all the way, I can get them to stay put at my natural waist (and therefore not drag the ground), but then they're all bunchy in the waist and bottom. They seemed roomy through the hips to start with, and would probably work okay, but I'd rather not have all the extra fabric.

Comfortable and FunctionalI bought these for a recent ice climbing trip to Montana; OMG I'm so glad I did. They were amazing! I teter on a M/L, and decided to go up to a L because these are a lighter softshell pant. I was able to wear compression pants and another base layer underneath with no bunching or gapping (hello adjustable sides). These pants were amazingly comfortable, and I was able to move around in them with no problem. I thoroughly appreciated the reinforced ankles so my crampons didn't catch. I also tested them out snowboarding. With layers underneath they are just as good as any other board pant, if not better because they are so flexible. Just remember they are water resistant and not waterproof, though they held up with me sitting in snow for a while. All in all, a great, quality purchase.

Love the fit!I am very pleased with this purchase. The pants are comfortable, do not slide off the hip line or run down when climbing uphill. Water proof, kept me very warm with just a thermo layer underneath. I could not ask for a better set of pants.
