"Great for keeping Hiking Gear Dry" 02/28/12
These really are Ultralight and do a great job of keeping various gear dry and sorted according to use. I use one for my sleeping bag, another for clothes and a another for food. The clothes dry sack doubles as my pillow at night. The variety of sizes available makes it easy to find the right dry bag for your needs. And these are reasonably tough given their Ultralight weight. A must for hiking.
"It is an Ultralight Dry Sack from a reputable company; what more can you say. Met all my expectatio" 09/12/11
I own several other Dry Sacks from other major brands, just different sizes. They are all very close to the same in design and build quality. So, buy on the size you need at who has the best price going.
"A Must" 08/29/11
What can I say, there are a million uses for these. My sleeping bag, pillow and mat sit at the bottom of my pack and this keeps them dry on damp ground. The 10L is big enough to fit an ultralight sleeping bag and pillow. I also use one to pack several days of warm weather clothes with no problem. The bags are really durable and can withstand a lot more than the OR Ditty Bags. Would recommend!
"Keeps gear dry, doesn't weigh you down" 06/20/11
Great as a pack liner at all times and for cooking gear storage at camp. Thin material is lightweight but strong enough to last, just don't pack sharp objects or expect this to replace a backpack. 55L size is HUGE! Plus side to getting the 55L is that you don't need multiple sizes for the various gear you might want dry, the material is light enough that a couple of extra rolls to the top before clipping shut is easy and folding over any leftover excess material is still adding very little weight to your pack. I keep one for sleeping gear at the bottom of the pack, one for clothes in the top portion, and one for quick storage and access of cooking gear and light food while at camp.
"Keep It Dry! OR is the Way to Go..." 11/12/10
I love this dry bag. I used it on the New & Gauley Rivers for two rafting seasons and its been a great companion keeping phones and food dry through some of the best white water WV has to offer. Get this bag, and the price is great too!
"Keeps your things dry!" 05/12/10
It does it's job of keeping your belongings dry. I will order more of these in a variety of sizes. I was surprised how tough they are, since usually you sacrifice durability for the lightweight, but not the case here! I would watch how much you abuse it, but it can take a bit. Not a drop of water gets inside!
"Tougher than they appear" 04/26/10
Indeed light and with that handy roll-top enclosure that's just as good for compression. This material is ultra thin and is surprisingly tough. Gotta love it. Ensures that my sleeping bag is dry no matter where I set (or accidentally drop) my pack. Bought another for my clothes because it beats a rain pack cover, especially when that only keeps the side facing out from your body dry.
"Water tight, and lightweight" 03/25/10
This bag is phenomenal! The sack is really a great size. I can get a ton of clothes, and even my tent when rolled tight in here. I swear by these OR dry sacks. River crossings, rain, a fall into a creek (it happened to me) it doesn't matter these sacks keep your stuff dry. Before I bear bag my food I like to put it all in one of these just as another barrier to keep the smells in. Even though these are lightweight they are still very durable. I wouldn't drag it behind you while on the trail but it will stand up to a good amount of abuse, and if it does malfunction or tear in any way OR stands behind their stuff for life. Cant go wrong with any size!
