"Great way to keep your gear organized." 11/22/11
Ditty sacks are the way to go to keep your gear situated just how you like it. These bags are ultralight like the maker claims. They arent exactly waterproof, but I have noticed they keep my stuff dry even if my pack gets a soaking.
"Durable Affordable and Light!" 08/29/11
The size selection of these bags is great. I use one for toiletries, and the other two for food and gear. They also have loops on them that can be clipped to your pack. When not in use, they compress down to almost nothing. Given their weight, these bags are not bombproof so I would avoid sharp edges that could puncture them. Overall, a great way to organize your gear inside your pack.
"Great way to organize your pack!" 05/23/11
These are some very useful bags to keep your pack organized, and they're ultra lightweight. We kept them inside a dry bag on a recent rafting trip, and they sure made it easy to actually find your belongs without having to dump everything out on the ground. Great for rafting or backpacking. OR makes quality products and these bags are no exception. So glad we got them.
"Great set for organizing" 04/29/10
I bought this to organize my pack a little more. I have an Aether 85, and it doesn't have the most pockets. No problem, because it has tons of room. I bought this set to group things I need and all I have to do is reach in and grab it. Great set, maybe a little pricey, but it is lightweight quality stuff.
"Surprising useful little bags" 04/09/10
First off, I'm a big advocate for not using stuff sacks -- you have a giant one that you put on your back. But these are so damn useful that I have to make an exception. I found the smaller two are the perfect sizes to compress my bivy sack and tent. I also found the largest one large enough to hold 4 day's worth of food. The material of all is lightweight, but as such is lacking in durability. I have holes working into all of mine from moderate use. They have an innovative sewn tab that keeps the buckle in place, making it easy to pull the bags open, but I ripped this off of two of them. Maybe I was too rough, maybe it wasn't sewn on well. Who knows. Highly recommend.
"Works good for organizing" 08/03/09
These little sacks work great for organizing my small items. Batteries, compass, and the like. Drawstring seals up pretty tight. I used one for snacks on the trail, was convenient to keep in my pocket. I used another for a first aid kit and it ended up being much lighter than the heavy fabric my old first aid kit was in. When packed full you can somewhat see through the bag to see whats in it.
