The had fits well and I forget it is on my head because it is so light. It is perfect for warm, sunny days because of the breathability. It comes with a rain cover which fits nicely over the hat. Although I have not used the rain cover, I'm sure it will come in handy some day.
I bought this to keep the sun off my face while gathering data in the field in Hawaii and it worked great. The vents keep your head cooler than a normal hat. BE AWARE this hat runs small th esmall barly fit me a t first but one it got worn in it worked great
