Outdoor Research Southback gloves are pretty solid gloves. Here in Vermont when the weather gets down to -20 these gloves keep my hands nice and toasty. The leather palms keep a really good grip on things. They also feel like they are already broken in when you first put them on...pretty awesome. I would recommend these gloves to anyone who is wearing the gloves casually or is looking to go adventuring with them. They are extremely light and warm so they will fit the needs of anyone looking to go winter climbing, mountaineering or simply going for a walk in the woods.
