The Snoqualmie Sombrero by Outdoor Research. This waterproof mountain sombrero sheds icy cold precipitation. Windproof fleece earflaps protect you from chill winds and tuck into the crown when they're not needed. The Snoqualmie is a favorite of wet-weather skiers.

"Worth the Coin." 11/29/10

I wanted a hat that would shed the rain/snow and keep it out of my eyes while also keeping it off of my neck. I also wanted one with snaps instead of Velcro or magnets. This one had an added bonus, the ear flaps that can also fold up and be stowed away. At first I thought the price was a little steep, but I pulled the trigger anyway...and I am happy I did. This is the finest had I have owned. The construction is top-notch. I have worn it when it was up to 65 degrees outside and even though I perspired a little, I was glad to have it. I can't wait to use it in the extreme cold this winter.

"Great all weather hat!" 02/14/07

Order shipped on time, received on time and better that; It is a great hat. I install satellite dishes for a living and this hat arrived one day before the great North East 2007 blizard. The snow, sleet and freezing rain ran off the hat like water off a duck. The only trouble I can see is that the hat is nicer than I expected and I'll be upset if I get it dirty!<BR>Duane
