"Lightweight And Warm: Just Right" 02/01/13

I have no hair on my head and wear a beanie but when running or just being outdoors for a long time, it's simply not enough. There's a ton of balaclava options out there but a lot are overly complicated or sort of bulky.This thing was perfect. It is very thin and lightweight (so it won't take up much room in your pack), but durable enough to protect you from the elements. The synthetics are far superior to any cotton or fleece as far as size & weight vs wind-resistance and warmth.Plus you look awesome wearing a balaclava.

"Great fit!" 02/03/12

This is a great lightweight balaclava that is in my pack regardless of the conditions. It is very lightweight, very comfortable, and provides a good combination of warmth and wicking. I wear it under a beanie, cap, or visor depending on the conditions and it's thin enough that I do not need to adjust cap sizes or anything like that. Personally I wish the face opening was about a centimeter larger in diameters, for me it is a little tight to have under chin so I typically wear it over mouth, under nose. I would like to think I have an average size head and a medium fits great.

"Perfect for a lightweight balaclava!" 04/02/08

This balaclava is lightweight, comfortable, and just the ticket for added warmth while hiking or use it to give your sleeping bag a few extra degrees on a cold night.

"ever wanted to like like a ninja?" 06/29/07

this guys are so clutch. you can look like a ninja, keep warm, use it just as a neck gaiter if you need, or you can pull it up and cover your whole face if its super windy and cold. solid item to have along with you on any northern expedition.
