Picked these up on sale (online) about a month ago. Bought the XL size, which surprisingly enough is truly XL (long fingers for me, but nice gloves so I kept them). About two weeks into joyous ownership, I put them on and tried to zip the cuff on the right glove. It zipped, but the zipper zipped right off the glove. Impossible to re-attach correctly. I haven't done more than drive to and from work with these on. No rough usage - no zipper abuse. Big bummer. Contacted customer service via Chat and was somewhat disappointed with their response (story for another day). In any event, if the zipper hadn't come off, this would be a five star review for the product. I'm keeping these gloves (as is). Hope others will find this review helpful.
As described, these gloves have a thin windstopper shell, lined with a thin fleece layer.Dexterity is excellent, and durability has proven to exceed expectations, they look good as new 3 months later. The leather remains unmarred, despite significant rope work. They are not described as waterproof, and should not be treated as such. Wind however, is a nother story, and will not chill your tips.
