"Equinox + Insect Shield" 02/03/12
This pant is identical to the OR Equinox pant, it is just treated with Permethrin (SP?) or whatever that insect repellant clothing treatment is. Great pant, I love the elastic drawcord bottoms. When used in conjunction with the OR Bugout Gaiters you have a solid bug barrier and its not obvious that you are wearing gaiters due to the matching colors. My only beef with this pant are the pockets. The right side thigh pocket is too small to be useful, and neither of the rear pockets feature zippers. I'd prefer zips on the rear pockets, and 2 thigh pockets instead of 1, both large enough to hold a smart phone / point and shoot digi cam or some bars / first aid kit.
