"Great for Snow and Cold Weather" 04/26/12
These gaiters are great at blocking snow and are great as an extra lower layer for calves. These gaiters grip tight to your boots and the straps are replaceable if you put a crampon through one or wear it down. Very high quality and very durable; a great buy if you need an excellent pair of winter gaiters.

These gaiters have long sleeves to them and are of excellent workmanship as they have a very solid strap on the bottom that is not likely to break off or wear out like some cheaper brands (I am looking at you Wal-Mart). They fit me fine and I am a big guy weighing in at 244 lbs. They fit over my large (size 14) boot without a problem.

I wanted some inexpensive, tough gaiters for work and these fit the bill quite nicely. They're simple and durable, full velcro front is a nice touch for getting them off and on, instep strap is long enough to fit around even large work boots (haven't tried them with my bunny boots yet however). The fit nicely over Carhartt bibs or just jeans with with a variety of boots (line boots, mountain boots, etc). I would say if you don't need the most expensive, fancy, breathable gaiters and/or want something a little cheaper but just as functional, get these. I'm picking up a second pair to keep in the truck since they're so inexpensive but work so well.
"Good product, sizing is a little small." 05/24/11
I wear a size 12 boot and I felt that the XL gaiters were sized a little small for my boots. The gaiters protected my legs from getting cut up on the hike up and stayed in place when running back down the mountain. I have fairly large legs and I had the top adjusters at their tightest setting so you may want to keep that in mind if you have smaller legs. The material was tough enough to withstand cacti but let my legs breathe and I didn't feel uncomfortable.

This product boils the water really fast and works great in most temperature.I took this to a snow camp and it worked fine, but I have to warm up the canister inside my clothes before using.I would recommend this product to anyone!

Couldn't ask for more, these gaiters do exactly what you expect. Excellent quality, never worry about strap or buckle failing. Top strap is very comfortable and holds gaiters in place very well. Have and will continue to recommend to all my friends.
"Heavy, but good!" 12/06/09
I don't use these too often because they are heavy, but if I am bushwacking or expect horrendous weather, these are on my legs. They breath well and I have not had a problem overheating. They are totally waterproof and I have actually worn these while crossing a creek shin deep and they have not leaked. I have owned and worn these for 5+ years with no durability problems at all. Good stuff.
"My First Pair of Gaiters and These are Awesome!" 10/02/09
I ended up tromping through saw palmetto in my shorts and these and I felt super comfy. I was worried they wouldn't fit right because the top strap wasn't fully tight but they didn't slip down at all. I would give them 5 stars if the top fully cinched around my skinny ass legs. I'll have to see how these do after I put a couple miles in hot Florida weather.

These gaitors are the best if you're looking for a good affordable pair that will function well and keep your feet/legs dry. The velcro on the front stays closed, and the strap on the top keeps them up where they're supposed to be. These are a must if you're hiking thru wet brush, or an area where you might run across snakes. They'll offer a little protection at least!
