"Great gloves for not so cold temperatures that do not restrict movement"

These gloves are thin but are very good for warmer temps.. think 50 degrees therabouts. Very comfortable to wear and very easy to take on and off. I bought these to keep myself warm in California and I love how it does not restrict movement. You do not lose dexterity when performing detailed tasks. These technical gloves feel warmer than "regular" gloves you may find at the Gap or Banana Republic and offer a better degree of freedom when operating small switches, buttons and levers. Think phones or dashboard control panels.I was turned off by the style originally since they seemed thin but they perform better than anything you usually find at the mall for twice the price.
On my last 2 week ski trip I used these all but one day and found them perfect for the warmer weather. So worth having as can be used around town or out hiking also.
"Good basic cold weather glove for military applications"

These might not keep your hands super warm, but they take the edge off if you are driving in the turret of a HMMWV on a cold night with the wind blasting you, and they have great dexterity. The little sticky bits on the thumb and forefinger are nice as well, for gripping small things. Easy to put on, easy to take off, and they fit great. Quick note: I usually wear XXL gloves- I have yet to wear any tactical glove smaller than this that fits me. The OR gloves I bought were XL's and fit perfectly. Typically the thumb is too short in XL's, but these are just right.
