"Great glove for the day to day."  12/22/11

I am on my second pair of these and I wear them nearly every day in the Utah snow. These tend to be better suited for the drive up and walking around. If it is a super cold day, throw a waterproof shell on top and you have an ultra-warm liner, but on their own on a powder day your hands are going to get wet.

"Outdoor Research should do more research on these gloves! They are not worth the money."  01/31/11

These gloves look great, although they do not perform as good at they look. I should have listened to the reviews that stated that these gloves to not stop the wind. They truly don't. What good are gloves that don't block the wind? They are ok above 25 degrees on a day that is not too windy or if you are running in and out of stores or the car (when you don't always need gloves anyway). They are, however, inadequate if you need to spend any length of time outside (more than 10 minutes) on a fairly cool and breezy day, the kind of which we have frequently in Chicago.

"Warm and medium-weight, but not wind proof"  12/27/10

These gloves aren't terribly bulky which gives great dexterity. The fit is snug and seams are smooth on the inside. I like the grippy surfaces -- great for the steering wheel. These are fairly warm down to the lower 20s or so, but a gust of wind will penetrate a bit. Also, the color is dark gray, not black.

"Good not great."  11/20/10

these gloves are pretty much what you would expect from a merino wool glove. very warm unless its windy. the rubber grips have worn completely off in less than a season worth of use. these are very light and good overall. for the price i would buy them again

"Warm and light weight"  05/26/10

Great gloves. Super warm in the subzero weather. When shoveling the the grippers on the palms are very helpful. Super lightweight and easily store in my pockets. Highly recommend them.

"Awesome glove, lightweight, warm, and functional"  02/02/10

I tried these on in a store before I bought them, so I already knew how well they fit and felt. They are wool, which is part of the reason I bought them. But they are also very warm for their weight and you can still maintain decent dexterity while wearing them. They are not terribly thick, but not too thin to be useless... if that means anything to anyone. The rubber grips on the fingertips and parts of the palm are a very nice touch. You can really feel the wool trapping the heat immediately after you put them on. They are perfect for morning commutes/walks to school. And, the tags say they're machine washable.
