"It keeps your body heat in!" 11/22/11
I got both the OR Credo Jacket and the OR Radiant Zip Tee the other day and they both perform fantastically. I used them both when I went out hunting today and stayed warm even though Mother Nature tried her best to get me to go inside. The jacket lasted through a 3.5 hour downpour without a leak. The only moisture on the inside was from me sweating. I haven't been able to put it to the test of all the seasons yet but that's next. Definetely want to see how it performs at temperatures below 50 degrees. I'd say get this jacket if you want a great way to stay warm. Don't get it if you want to be a stick in the mud.
"Very comfortable" 12/07/10
Ive had the credo for years and I still love it. I don't take it out into the wild anymore since it doesn't have a hood (I now use the OR Alibi) but the credo does a great job of shedding light precip and wind in the city while working and for anything really. I have used the credo in every season and it has preformed well. It is very breathable yet does a good (but not perfect) job of blocking wind. Overall the credo is a great piece and I've loved every minute that i've spent in mine.
"Great jacket for mild winter conditions" 10/03/10
I live in a very moderate climate and the typical lows during the heart of winter rarely reach freezing. This jacket provides enough warmth for those days that chill you to the bone. I'm talking about temps in the 20s to 30s. Although these temperatures do occur in my state, by far the norm is having the lows around 35 to 45 or even 50 degrees F. So I need a jacket that can keep me warm on those rare freezing days, but it needs also needs to be light enough so as to not suffocate me on all the other less cold days. This jacket fits the bill perfectly and does so without a hefty price tag. This is a great buy. I am 5'9" and around 160 and a medium fits me like a glove.
"this jacket is about as hot as Ron Jeremy." 10/30/08
This jacket is legit. It keeps you really warm, has tons of places to stash your Moosejaw schwag, and is water resistant. Unfortunately, in a downpour, the jacket will eventually begin to absorb water, but for your run of the mill dash in the rain, it's great. The tricot collar is great on the neck. The zippers on all the exterior pockets are water resistant as well. Solid construction, solid buy.
