"Outstanding, comfortable, warm, and they do the job."
I bought these pants for a trip to Rainier as a recomendation from some friends. I was not sure of the exact sizing but if you follow the chart that is on this site you should not have a problem. I am 6' 2", 170, and long legs so I was a little worried but a large worked out just fine. They seem really well made and have a pretty cool, easy to use waist adjustment if needed. Obviously you can wear them alone or as part of a layer so wear them how they work for you. The price seemed a little high but so is everything nowadays, but I like them and would buy them again.
"Comfortable, warm, durable, stretchy in the thighs."
Wore these on Rainier and didn't need a hard shell or anything over them on the top of the mountain because they are warm. Also very water-resistant, if water gets on them it beads for awhile and doesn't soak in so easily. These pants are also very stretchy and flexible, I have thick thighs so not alot of other pants fit me in the legs, but these do. I would wear them everywhere if it was acceptable.
These pants were suggested to me by a mountain climbing company, so I gave them a shot. They are really comfortable and are tough, but light. Plenty of pockets and has zipper openings around the foot and ankle so you have room to wrap over your boots. Really great pair of pants!
