"Good Gaiters" 12/28/10
If you want some gaiters, but want something lighter weight (and not as goofy looking) as the ones that hit just below the knee, these are for you. The combination of these, rain paints, and gortex shoes allowed my feet to stay dry for over 1,000 miles (with 3 exceptions). In addition to protecting you from the rain, these will also help protect you from poison ivy. Unless you are going super lightweight, you should get these gaiters.
