"light sun/rain hat" 11/01/10

I've never seen an OR hat that didn't rock. Got this for a good friend, who reports that it's light and blocks both rain and sun without getting too hot. It's also lightweight and has a dark underbrim to minimize glare. The drawcord is smooth and stays put. The hat hasn't been abused too much yet, but durability is never a problem for any lifetime-guaranteed-OR product. I'm waiting for more colors to buy more as gifts.

"Awesome" 10/24/10

This is my go to camping hat so it gets a good week to 10 days of use at a go and has never failed me. I love the reinforced brim so when it really starts to rain the water stays off of your face and won't run down your neck. The only issue I have with it is that it's black and it gets really hot on a warm, sunny day. The vent helps but my head definitely gets toasty on sunny days. If you plan on using it mostly in the summer I would recommend a light colored one.
