"keeps shtuff dry, but don't be fording any creeks"
          03/29/09
could fit a bit snugger around the bottom of the boot; it would make them that much better when fording a creek is your only option. Other than that, and perhaps a better clip at the top, these are a solid buy

"Great Gaiters!"
          06/29/08
These gaiters are very light, and they pack down to little nothing. They keep your legs bone dry and are quick to don and doff. The matierial is suprisingly resiliant.

"A gaiter for all activities"
          02/22/08
Best gaiters I've ever used. The form fit at the bottom is top notch. I used them year round and have the best results of any other gaiter - alpine, trail, water it doesn't matter. Fit is very versatile for various boots/shoes.

"Sick gaiters"
          06/29/07
If you have never used gaiters and you backpack at all you definitely need to grab these. They keep your feet as dry as possible in river crossings and protect your legs from brush-scrapes. This pair are great because they're built to last and the buckle across the bottom is definitely more sturdy and built to last longer than less expensive models. The last thing you want is for your gear to fail in the field.

"look good, but quality control lacking. I got a bad pair of these gaiters."
          06/24/07
Gaitors look good, but never got to put them on before the hook that holds the gaiter to the front of the boot/shoe pulled out or the webbing. Poorly made. The rest of them looks fine. I am returning these for a refund. I have had others made by OR that were fine...not these.

"Best against unwanted pregancy."
          07/17/06
Waterproof and easy off, but it can take some time adjusting the velcro when first putting on. Once on though, nothing gets through, and they even protect against STD's.
