"great bag" 		          09/02/09
the only drawback to this sized bag is that i had to check it at the airport - other than that it saw me through a 2 week long backpacking trip without a problem. I love the color and it was super comfortable to wear.

This pack has TONS of room! It has everything I need! This pack has an external zippered pocket that holds much more than it looks like. The three entry points are a GREAT plus, I LOVE that. The three external straps can be used to tighten the pack & distribute the weight evenly, an excellent bonus. The day pack is detachable and can carry much more than it looks like. It also attaches to the bag through compression straps, so the bag shrinks down to a carry-able size. The hip belt is Osprey's specialty because it can be heated in their oven to form fit each individual. I am a small girl, and I was worried that I would not be able to carry 50 pounds, but this pack makes it possible. LOVE IT!

Initial draw was color. I dislike pastels and most women's displays were pastel-ish. Color doesn’t add function, but I didn't want to look like an Easter egg. Other than color, many other greats. Weight distribution - manageable and no sloshing. Pockets and dividers. Useful and not overdone. Water pouch pass-throughs in places that make sense. One on each side - lefties can have it come out on the right so we don't get tangled. I also like the option of keeping or not the bottom divider. Bag curve odd at first. Great for carrying, but had to adjust packing. Great head guard at the top of the bag. It keeps me from feeling claustrophobic.

I purchased this pack last year and went to the Lansing, MI store to do so in person (always best to try a pack on). The peeps working were extremely helpful! Although this bag is designed for women they let me change the waist and shoulder straps over to the male version (wanted this color). Fit great and they even threw in a rain cover! I absolutely love it. The best features are definitely the straight jacket straps and side zip entry. I wouldn't buy my gear anywhere else.

"Hmm...so pretty...so very pretty..." 		          07/05/08
I was a little disappointed when I received this product because it's a lot darker than in the photos. It's the same color as the Argon line, and in fact, I think it's probably the same product, just with different harnesses and belts for women. I ended up sending it back because it just differnt fit. I couldn't get it to sit right on my shoulders, but that's probably because my shoulders are rather square and the harness is made for more tapered shoulders. I probably could have tried the men's sizes to find one that fit, and I probably would have tried this if it was the right color though the darker color is probably better anyway, since dirt won't show up as well on it as it would on a li

This review has nothing to do with the product - which is excellent by the way - but rather the shipping policies at Moosejaw. BEWARE! Unless you have your order submitted prior to 11 AM Eastern time - you will not receive a next day shipment the next day. The website doesn't show that - in fact the order is accepted and you are told it will ship that day. Don't believe it.

"good bag, you should get one." 		          05/09/08
i bought this for my girlfriend but i almost want to keep it for myself. it is just as nice a my Argon 85 by osprey. the pack is very comfortable to carry and has more than enought room to pack all that you want and need. i was a little disapointed with the color. i ordered it in blue and the color is much darker than it looked. i think all in all, i am very happy with this bag.
