Osprey Women's Aura 65 Backpack Item No. 10084133

The Osprey Women's Aura 65 Backpack is a pack contoured to fit a woman's body, with a contoured harness and ultra-comfortable canted hipbelt. This backpack sports a LightWire alloy frame that can support up to 50 pounds with ease. That's like 10 cats. Or 5 fat cats. But I'm not totally convinced that bringing cats on a hiking trip would be a good plan. This bag features pockets on the top, side, and hipbelt to store your gear and keep everything in its place.

"great pack" 03/15/12
I bought this for my wife who at 8 month pregnate decided we needed to go on one last camping trip bofore camping was altered by a child. She hiked with nearly full weight several miles without her hip belt and still thoug hthe pack was comfy. She loves her backpack and asked me when we are going camping instead of me askeing her when we can go.
"Lots of features for the weight" 09/18/11
I wanted a pack that was light weight but could carry a load well. I've used this pack with 40 lbs in it and for up to 8 day trips. Lots of features for the weight (sleeping bag compartment, removeable top pocket, large outer pockets on back, etc). I like the mesh pockets on the waistbelt (although one of them developed some rips in the mesh). The only thing I would like to see different is I'd like the waistbelt to be adjustable (up and down) to account for differences in torso length (I am short and have a "short" pack but would like a little more adjustability).
"PERFECT FOR ANY TRIP" 08/18/11
This bag can do it all. It is perfect for that weekend hiking trip and has plenty of room for all of your gear. I recently used this backpack for my month long backpacking trip across Europe. The bag stretches easily and fit enough clothing and other essentials for the entire month! That's a lot of stuff!! It did however wear down a little bit on the two bottom corners of the bag where the frame and fabric meet. If you are going on trips where your bag will not be a carry on, I would highly recommend getting a large bag to protect your backpack from being thrown around.
"If it can keep up with me then it must be amazing" 06/08/11
Really fantastic. I've taken it to the Andes, the Amazon, Europe, and hiking all over PA. It's showing almost no signs of wear except for dirt even though I check it on flights and have no mercy on it. It's extremely comfortable on me and I feel like I can put anything in there and make the weight go away. It's spacious w/ all the pockets you could need. The only thing I have trouble with is fitting my sleeping bag in there every once in a while (because of the curved shape of the bag). Also, in warm weather it's amazing because of the great ventilation for your back and on the shoulder straps and hip belt (plus the padding in the hip belt is the best ever). I recommend it.
"Perfect for 2+ night backpacking trips!" 03/22/11
This pack belonged to a friend of mine and I borrowed it for a 3 day backpacking trip. It literally fit EVERYTHING I needed to bring, with convenient pockets for everything. I went out a bought it a week later! The colors are awesome and the pack stows everything so it doesn't weigh you down along the trail. I had a problem attaching both my sleeping pad and bag but it was nothing a little bungee cord couldn't fix. I absolutely recommend getting this pack if you do a lot of backpacking trips, the price is steep but worth it tenfold!
"Sicky pack" 02/19/11
Hands down the best pack for 1-3 night trips. We pack WAY too heavy, Paris Hilton style, when we backpack, but this caries the weight very comfortable. This pack also shines in the warm weather. It's ventilation is unique, effective, and extremely comfortable. Can't go wrong with this thing.
"great pack" 12/14/10
Bought this for my wife after we tested several kinds in store. Super light, compared to others, and still very comfortable defiantly capable of carrying around for an all weekend hiking and camping. Lightweight and seems to be pretty strong fabric to last a long time. Plus Osprey's warranty is awesome on the packs.
"blue like your eyes..." 09/01/10
I LOVE THIS PACK! it has so many wonderful pockets and compartments it makes packing easy and organized! It has plenty of spots to hook carabiners or bungie cords if needed as well! Its very comfortable but you have to place the hip straps perfectly or they may cause some rubbing/bruising! make sure the lay flat against you and the edges arent digging in at all because if your pack is heavy, you will get some bruising! Other than that I absolutelyyyy love it. It is a wonderful pack.
"This Osprey Backpack Rocks!" 08/06/09
This pack is so comfortable! I really liked all the different pockets and straps - they're great for organization. My favorite was having a seperate zippered section for my sleeping bag or tent on the bottom of the pack. It is large enough for an extended trip (5-7 days), but can compress for a short 1-2 day trip. The ventilation is also great, one of the few packs that don't make my back all sweaty by the end of the day, and the hydration bladder fits right into the mesh ventilation area - without having to unpack your whole bag! I loved the way it fit on my hips, and especially love the load-lifter straps. Bottom line...great pack, very comfortable, and I would highly recommend!
