"great pack"  03/20/12

this pack is perfect in size for any weekend excursion. i would not recommend it for an extended week or longer trip. i bought the light blue which gets fairly dirty, so if you like your camping/hiking gear nice and clean the blue is not for you. this pack is filled with external pockets which comes in handy for any small or easy to reach items. overall it's comfortable to hike with.

"Perfect!"  07/13/11

While looking for a birthday gift for my fiance I found this little gem. Well actually I felt like I had to buy it, or an onslaught of jealousy would be cast in my direction after purchasing myself an Atmos months earlier. Of course, any pack for her would have to be just as good if not better than mine, so this friendly moosejaw feller made it a simple choice by showing me the XX chromosome version of my man bag. Osprey had a great design here. The downside? The 50 liter does not have a bottom entry, because of this she said she would like to upgrade to a larger liter pack, but keep the same model.

"This pack is the cat's pajamas, but make sure you try it on"  07/05/11

This pack is pretty darn awesome. As expected, it's amazing quality, not to mention that the blue is a lovely color. However, I would recommend getting sized for this pack and trying it on before ordering online: I am a fairly petite individual (5'5", 115lbs), but, because of my hip size, I had to get a medium. Had I not been sized in-store, I would definitely have gotten too small of a pack. As long as you take the time to make sure you get the right size, however, you will absolutely love this Aura model.

"i recommend this to anyone looking for adventure!"  05/22/11

This pack is amazing. Its the first one ive ever owned (unless you count the army standard issue one size fits all) and is amazing I think it my be all osprey all the time now. It fits the smaller female frame really well and, its easy to adjust to your shape and size while making your way down the trail which is nice because it wont slow you down. Its also easy to make it pretty tight which helps distribute the weight pretty evenly. The hip strap pockets make a east access place to put a camera or cliff bar. I had full climbing gear including rope, harness and a medium size rack and still had plenty of room.

"Osprey is my Favorite Thing!"  12/04/10

I think Osprey makes the most intelligent, best looking, and totally comfortable backpacks on the market. I see folks summiting Everest with 'em, on the AT, and at the airport as luggage. With such a diverse range of use, I find myself taking it everywhere I go. I cant say that about most packs that are ugly, stupid, and one-dimensional. Got this one for the GF and she doesn't know yet, so please don't tell her. It is ideal for her back since she has issues there...check out the product description about you will get one!

"Comfy but try it on!"  11/21/10

NEVER, EVER buy a pack without trying it on first. That is the bottom line. Before I purchased this pack I tried it on in a local sporting goods store but it is lightweight, versatile and can fit a lot of stuff. The only downfall is that there isn't a great place to put a sleeping bag, besides in the main pocket.

"My first backpack, and I'm gonna wear it out"  10/18/10

I bought the 2008 model of this pack. I had previously backpacked with a pack I borrowed from a girlfriend and it rubbed my hips soooo bad. This pack fits great on my hips and evenly distributes the weight. I ended up being a size small even though I have pretty wide hips so I would recommend getting fitted at an outdoor store then buying the right size you need online. It's great for a weekend backpacking getaway! Go Osprey!

"Awesome Pack!"  12/02/09

This pack is really nice. Plenty of space inside the bag, and has plenty of pockets. Easy access to a lot of the pockets. I ordered a medium, and I am 5'9" and it fits me well. The bag supports weight well, and distributes it well. Hydration is in a good location, and I like the location of the hydration ports being on both sides. There are a lot of loops and straps and whatnot on the bag that are not described in the manual. What are they for? Do they do anything? I also dislike that there is no strap management for the waist straps. The webbing just kinda goes everywhere.Aside from what I don't like, I love this bag, and would recommend and buy it again.

"Love it!"  06/19/09

My husband and I both purchased Osprey's 50L series backpacks (aura and atmos) to gear up for an extended trip through Europe and so far have been using them to haul our gear on climbing trips. They are the perfect size for draws, rope, harness, lunch, rain jacket, and h2o. I have found mine to be very comfortable and love the exterior pockets (back - for guidebooks, and hips - for sunglasses and chapstick). The color looks much brighter in the display picture from the reflective fabric. In person it is toned down.
